Role of DPPReady
DPPReady provides a technical platform for creating, managing, versioning and publishing digital product passports. Automated checks for completeness, formatting or plausibility do not replace a substantive or legal review. In particular, they do not constitute certification, legal advice or confirmation that a product complies with applicable regulatory requirements.
Product passport data provided by issuers
The information, images and documents published in digital product passports are provided and approved for publication by the organisation identified as the respective issuer. This applies in particular to information concerning products, manufacturers, materials, supply chains, sustainability and compliance.
The respective issuer is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, currency and lawfulness of the published content. The issuer is also responsible for ensuring that it holds all rights and permissions required to use and publish the uploaded images, trademarks, documents and other content.
The technical processing, storage or display of this content by DPPReady does not mean that DPPReady adopts the content as its own or confirms its accuracy, completeness or legal admissibility.
Reporting unlawful content
Potentially unlawful or rights-infringing content may be reported by email to support@DPPReady.de. The notice should include the exact address of the digital product passport concerned, a description of the disputed content, a comprehensible explanation of the alleged infringement, and the reporting person’s name and contact details.
Sufficiently specific and comprehensible notices will be reviewed in accordance with applicable legal obligations. Content may be restricted, blocked or removed where necessary. Where legally permissible and reasonably possible, the affected issuer will be informed about the notice and any action taken.

Where this service refers to external websites, responsibility for their content lies with the respective provider. External content is checked for obvious legal violations when it is first linked. Permanent monitoring of external content without specific indications of an infringement is not reasonable. Reports of unlawful linked content will be reviewed; affected links will be removed where necessary.
