Document the battery category, capacity, economic operator and placing-on-the-market date, then decide whether data belongs at model, batch or individual level.

Map every required field to its source, owner, update cycle, access group and supporting evidence, including performance, composition and carbon-footprint information where applicable.

Article 77 sets 18 February 2027 for LMT, industrial batteries above 2 kWh and EV batteries; individual applicability should still be checked.

Is all battery-passport data public?

No. The Regulation distinguishes access groups, which the technical solution must enforce.
